From Wartime Rehabilitation

Originally developed from wartime traumatic brain injury & chronic pain rehabilitation, this clinically practical system has been adapted for today’s balance, mobility, and neurologic rehabilitation needs.

Train the Nervous System

A practical course for PTs and PTAs who want a structured way to address balance dysfunction, neurologic impairment, and functional instability using neuroplastic, movement-based training principles.

Restore Functional Movement

Learn how to apply progressive neurofunctional movement strategies to improve balance, coordination, movement confidence, and functional mobility in older adults and neurologic populations.

This is Part 1 of the Mobility-X NFI Balance Certification Level 1 pathway: a 12-hour online CE course for PTs and PTAs.

* Format: self-paced online course * Hours: 12 contact hours * Audience: PTs and PTAs * Completion requirement: final quiz or assessment with minimum passing score, if applicable * Certificate: certificate of completion issued after course requirements are met * Next step: live/interactive Part 2 workshop, if required for full Level 1 certification Submitted for Florida PT/PTA continuing education approval. CE credit will be awarded only after approval is confirmed:   CE Broker Tracking Number: 20-1378988 Mobility-X NFI Level 1 Certification is a private professional training certificate issued by Mobility-X Institute. It does not replace state licensure, board certification, or professional scope-of-practice requirements.

Meet the Founder

Jeff Frankart founded Mobility-X and created Neuroplastic Functional Integration after decades of military and clinical work with traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, polytrauma, and neurologic rehabilitation. A retired U.S. Army Physical Therapist, Jeff served for 30 years, including 10 years overseas supporting combat-related rehabilitation environments. That experience shaped the Mobility-X Neurofunctional System: a clinical framework designed to help PTs and PTAs progress balance, movement confidence, functional mobility, and real-world recovery.

Who this is for

Physical Therapist

Who are working with balance, aging adults, fall risk, chronic pain, TBI history, vestibular involvement, neurologic conditions, or functional mobility decline

Physical Therapist Assistant

Who wants a clearer framework for progressing supported movement, functional load, and balance confidence

Therapist

Who wants a structured bridge between neuroscience, graded exposure, assistive-device use, and real-world functional mobility
